Growing up, I faced some challenges. I lost my parents at a young age and was raised by my maternal grand mother. But despite the Hardships, I was determined to succeed. After completing my A Levels, i could continue to college because of financial struggles. I tried joining the Zimbabwe National Army and later the Zimbabwe Republic Police but was unfortunate. In 2018 I tried illegal mining just to make ends meet, but i never gave up on my dreams.
Then in 2019 i was approached by the Rooted Foundation and my Life changed. They help me get the financial support I need to pursue a Degree in Regional and Urban Planning at The Great University of Zimbabwe.
Thanks to this beautiful cause, I’ve been able to to focus and achieve my goals. I’m now preparing to graduate, and i could not be more grateful.

I grew up in a family of four and were raised by our grandmother after losing both my parents at a very young age. She supported me through my primary and secondary education. MY grandmother passed away and i could not continue with my education. I felt hopeless not knowing if i had any bright future. It was during that time that the rotted foundation stepped into my life  and offered me support, a chanced to attend college
For the first time , I believed in a better future. The foundation promised to help-and they kept their word. Today I am proud boiler maker and my life has been forever changed . The rooted foundation opened doors I thought were close and gave me the tools to succeed.
I am living  proof that with education, guidance  and emotional support , anything is possible. This Foundation doesn’t just help,
